DESCRIPTION:Do your bit for the environment and help Care for Hedland to blitz the streets of Hedland! \nNominate a team to join in the blitz! Teams can be made up of community or school groups\, businesses or a bunch of mates. Teams (minimum of five) can use any equipment at their disposal to “blitz” (remove rubbish\, mow verges\, tidy edges) their street. The winning team will not only receive bragging rights but also a trophy and medals! \nRemember to wear closed in shoes and drink plenty of water on the day\, as the competition will be HOT! \n  \nDate: TBC (check our Facebook page for updates!)

DESCRIPTION:Adopt-A-Spot roadside clean ups take place on the fourth Saturday of every month at a specific location on the Port-South highway (Wilson Street)\, to be announced on our Facebook page on the week of the clean up. We will be collecting rubbish from 7-8:30am. \nWear protective clothes and shoes\, hat and sunscreen and bring water. Gloves and bags provided! \nJoin in and make Hedland shine!
